A reflective journal for teachers is a written record of their observations, reflections and learnings about the craft of teaching and learning.

As a student teacher in the University of Zululand you will be engaged in teaching practice for the period 08/04 – 20/06/2025. During this period, you will be expected to observe teachers teaching English First Additional Language (EFAL) in the Intermediate Phase,at the school you are placed in. You, also, will be expected to teachEFAL in the Intermediate Phase.

Why are we teaching?
We are teaching EFAL with the objective of allowing learners to develop necessary communication skills in English.
